Prineville Jiu-jitsu
Prineville Jiu-Jitsu was founded in 2024 and offers Jiu Jitsu and MMA classes for adults and Jiu-Jitsu for kids starting at age 6. Prineville Jiu Jitsu is an affiliate gym of Cascao Jiu-Jitsu which is headquartered in Las Vegas where Walter "Cascao" Vital, Owner of the Cascao gyms lives and teaches. As an Affiliate of Cascao, Prineville Jiu-Jitsu is an IBJJF recognized gym, giving students access to IBJJF events and competitions.

Chris Acarregui, Head Coach / Black Belt
Chris Acarregui is a seasoned martial artist with a rich background that spans several disciplines. Starting his journey in martial arts at age 18 with Shotokan Karate, where he earned his 2nd degree Black Belt, Chris has since dedicated himself to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Beginning his BJJ training over 18years ago, he has advanced to the rank of 1st-degree Black Belt, showcasing his deep technical knowledge and commitment. With a diverse skill set and years of experience, Chris Acarregui is not only a skilled practitioner but also a respected teacher and mentor in the martial arts community.
Blaine Noland
Blaine, a native of Prineville, Started training Jiu-Jitsu 7 years ago in Redmond with Joint Lock BJJ where he developed a passion for the art of Jiu-Jitsu. With multiple successful businesses under his belt, Blaine decided to combine his passion for Jiu Jitsu and his knowledge of business to bring Prineville its first and only Jiu-Jitsu and MMA gym.
Adam Mack
Adam started with Joint Lock BJJ and has quickly developed an obsession with Jiu-jitsu. Drawing on a deep background in extreme endurance sports and various other combative disciplines, Adam helps with our fundamentals and No-Gi classes.
Schaun Johnson
As a former MMA competitor, current Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, and NASM-certified personal trainer, Coach Schaun brings a diverse background of real-world experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for helping others become stronger, more confident, and better equipped to reach their goals.
Murry Couture
Murry has been involved in Jiu Jitsu and MMA since 2008, training across Oregon and continually growing in both sports. After moving to Prineville in 2022, Murry reignited his training with renewed focus at Jointlock in Redmond and then became one of the first members of Prineville Jiu Jitsu and later a coach. He now enjoys training and teaching alongside family, friends, and the local community.
